There is more to life than your ‘hood. Get out there and see all of God’s handiwork.
Few things excite me as much as traveling to some new far-away land and taking pictures of my adventures while there. Well, perhaps the one thing I can think of that’s better? Traveling to far away lands for free (or at a significant discount). I do realize my privilege. Over the years, I have gone to 30 countries, 5 continents, 32 US states, and countless cities and towns throughout this great land.
Not everyone can go and see the world at the drop of a dime. But, even if you can’t physically get there, my goal is for you to experience the world through my camera lens. I try to document my travels through photos in enough detail to recall the unique things that I experience years later. If you ever wanted to visit US national parks, capital cities worldwide, rainforests, ancient wonders of the world, beaches, islands, or mountains, then why not take a peak at my portfolio before you head out.
When I’m not traveling, you’ll most likely find me grilling some dead animal on my deck. I enjoy executing my plan of attack. There are so many variables to consider when grilling, many of which you can’t control. You can control what type of meat you cook, the temperature to cook it, the rub you use, the type of smoking wood, the size of the smoking wood, the type of fuel source, and the type of pit you use. But you can NOT control the outside temperature, the wind, the marbling of the meat you are cooking, the beginning and end of the stall that it will experience, or the cost of the meat. And it is this 20-dimensional puzzle that I enjoy tackling every time I light my grill. I capture my #grillgames in this blog. I usually provide my initial cooking plan, the execution (with its wins and pitfalls), and I give myself a grade. I provide before and after pictures as well as intermittent pictures throughout the process. If you enjoy grilling and living outdoors, I encourage you to check out some of the culinary gems I’ve created over the past few years or so. It will be well worth your time.
